Legolas' PoemPrince of Mirkwood, Legolas Greenleaf
I ride swift to Imladris
The Lord Elrond holds Council
I act as King Thraunduil's Envoy
My Father takes counsel in his own Lands
Darkness consumes us all.
With Bow and Arrow I defend my friends
With deathly skill I slay my foes
I fight beside the Horse-Lords
To defend a Country I do not know
But against the Dark Lord
Everything is everyone's.
The Final Battle comes
It All rests on this
I who cannot die fight with those who are
We drive the Evil from the City of Kings
But it is not done yet
The Battle of the Black Gate must come.
The Ring is Destroyed
The Dark Lord is Done
The King is Crowned
The World is finally safe
But he Age of Men has come
And the Elves are Leaving.
Patronus Contest EntryThe waters of the Great Lake were still as a mill pond, the evening sky reflected on its glassy surface. A solitary figure sat staring disparately at the shore of the lake lost in her thoughts.
Emma, along with the rest of the Sixth Year Hufflepuffs, had spent the afternoon practising the Patronus Charm in Defence Against the Dark Arts, but Emma was the only one in her class who had not managed to summon a corporeal Patronus. The Sixth Years had been studying Patronuses now for over a month; first researching the theory of the spell, then practising the incantation before finally attempting to produce a Patronus. Emma was particularly gifted at Charms, she had already mastered all of the Sixth Year charms and even some of the Seventh Year spells, and she was one of the first in her class to produce a non-corporeal Patronus to the great surprise and delight of Professor Slughorn. She therefore had expected to discover what form her Patronus would take very soon after, but it had been al
Demise of a Death EaterThe last blood red rays of the sun fell below the horizon as the sound of a great engine roared off into the sky above the village of Godric's Hollow. Despite the terrible events that had transpired in the village the previous night there was not a soul around to witness a motorbike disappearing into the dusk, nor the shadowy figure which materialised by the ruined cottage. Cloaked like Death himself, Severus Snape lay a pale, shaking hand on the garden gate and, trembling, pushed it open. Ignoring the squeaking hinges, Snape almost stumbled along the garden path, dark eyes roving around what used to be such a well cared-for garden, but had recently fallen into neglect; the lawn was in dire need of mowing, the flower beds over-grown with weeds, yet the last of that year's lilies managed to rise above the interlopers.
"Lily..." Snape whispered. Hot tears were already forming in the corners of his eyes.
Tearing away his gaze Snape returned his focus to the house; one whole side had been
My Top 11 Moments from Lord of the RingsI wasn't always a fan of Lord of the Rings or Tolkien's work. In fact I didn't read The Hobbit until I was sixteen years old, and didn't read Lord of the Rings until after I had seen Fellowship of the Ring. But once I began my journey in Middle-Earth there was no going back for me, I am officially a Ring-ite; I have all of Tolkien's published works (currently slowly working my way through The Silmarillion), the extended editions of Lord of the Rings on DVD, am incredibly pumped for The Hobbit and I even have my first name tattooed in Elvish on my wrist. After reading Wolfsklage's favourite moments from Lord of the Rings I was inspired to write my own, so here we go!
Remember this is my own personal opinion on my favourite scenes and moments from Lord of the Rings, and you may think the order is wrong or be enraged that I haven't included your favourite scene but to be honest I haven't included half of my favourite scenes an
Natha Daged Dhaer _ Ch2Chapter 2: The Road To The Forests
~[ ]~ - indicated the translation of the Elvish words into English.
Long did the company travel that day, making their trek nearly to the foot of the Misty Mountains. On and on they ran, like they had before when their friends Merry and Pippin had been in grave danger. Back then, they had been forced to stop for darkness or to track the footsteps of the Orcs. Now, nothing save for the harsh terrain could slow them down. By nightfall, they set up camp at the foot of the mountains.
"It will be a long journey tomorrow, Gimli." Legolas said as he sat down next to the Dwarf, "We must all have our rest, but I am not yet tired so I shall take the first watch."
Aragorn looked across the fire to his friend, "What troubles you so, Legola
Natha Daged Dhaer _ Ch1Chapter 1: The Last Homely House, Rivendell </i>
~[ ]~ - indicated the translation of the Elvish words into English.
The journey of the three companions was a long and dangerous road. Orcs still patrolled the Northern Lands, much as they always did. However, with the rising of the Dark Lord Sauron and the wizard Saruman's armies, the Orcs of the North had begun to stir and cause great trouble and suffering for the Elves of the forest of Mirkwood.
The Elf Lord of Mirkwood, Legolas' father, had sent word to Elrond of Rivendell in hope of reinforcements to fight the uprising of Orcs in their lands. When the companions arrived once more in the last homely house, they were troubled at the news.
"It has become clear to me now that the threat of darkness was not entirel
S h a t t e r e d.What is she supposed to do
when the whole world is against her?
Everything she touches shatters
into a million tiny shards,
until it resembles the pathetic pieces of her broken heart
and withers away to nothing.
She'll watch the dust float away on the merciful wind,
until it is just an image
forever etched into her mind.
She'll be satisfied in knowing that it, at least,
will finally be safe from this hell on Earth.
Fir MelethWhen Aragorn awoke to the sound of Legolas' soft voice murmuring in his mother tongue, he knew immediately that the elf was distressed. A lifetime of living with elves had made him accustomed to hearing the different tones in their voices when they spoke, enabling him to pinpoint the emotion perfectly. Legolas was no exception to this rule in fact, he believed he knew Legolas better than any other. Forcing himself to awaken further, he turned, eyes adjusting to the dim light in the room, until he found the slender figure of the elf standing out on the balcony. Aragorn now registered the slight chill in the air that swept in through the open balcony doors, and he sat up, the soft sheets falling around his hips as he gazed at Legolas' form beneath the moonlight. The elf seemed unaware, as he continued speaking in his soft, musical voice. Aragorn strained to hear the exact words, spoken in the beautiful language of the elves, until finally they took shape and he realised what Legol
Poison or deliciousYour a type of poison as sweet as they come
Like a Cyanide sip
or a arsenic apple
Are you my Sweet foe?
Or my deadly lover?
When you call my name..
Do you want me to know your there
Or do you want to see me hurt?
Or the night you beckoned me closer and said to me...
you loved me
But when I tried to say it back you shoved me.
A flower had bloomed inside me...
And you had spilled your acid on it
But I shut my mouth
But when we opened them again in the..
Locked rooms or
Your skin on mine,
You kissed my throat
And I wondered
If you would be like the snake you had been labeled And
spit your poison on my open heart
coil your self around it, as I wear it on my sleeve
and protect it from all those deadly bits.....
The Drinking Game
The Drinking Game
The war had been won, at least for now. Helm's Deep had been emptied shortly after the battle and some of the host had gone north toward Isengard.
Legolas had been among them, though they stayed for a very short while. As luck would have it, they found Merry and Pippin sitting happily upon the ruined gates of that dark tower, enjoying the spoils of war. After much discussion with, not only Saruman but an Ent as well, they soon journeyed back toward Edoras. It took a few days to reach that land, though the mood was light hearted the entire journey.
Now, they had returned, and a grand feast was being prepared to honor the victors of battle. And, no matter how hard he tried, Legolas could not get Aragorn to excuse him from attending.
"Aragorn, you know I do not wish to be wi
LustYour lips taste of poison,
In our toxic affair.
One hand down your leggings,
And one hand in your hair.
Your tongue's made of snakeskin,
And your teeth feel like fangs.
Our corpses aligned,
Our values are hanged.
And her breath
Creates a misty haze,
And our touch
Sends us into a daze,
Upon the ground we lay,
And through our lives we lie.
Only to lust we pray,
Until the day we die.
The sins form our divan,
And the shadows our graves.
Light is but an illusion,
Only darkness can save.
And we kiss
Under the moonlight,
And we hide
From the dreaded sunlight,
Finish up the charade,
At least for tonight.
And upon next calling,
We'll set everything right.
We feel the push of our bodies,
Pressed again our skin.
We feel the crush of our lives,
And our pressure of sin.
And the sun
Starts another day,
And I run
So far away,
Please Forgive MeI'm so sick of the ups and downs,
I'm sick of feeling completely alone,
Feeling guilty when my friends find out,
With no release, I can't scream or shout,
So I'm sorry everyone for how I am,
When I feel as down as a valley land.
I wish I could be stronger,
I wish I could be smarter,
To avoid any drama whatsoever,
And having befriended depression, never.
So please forgive me friends,
For acting like this is the end.
I say I need help, need support, need love,
But what I really need is peace like a dove,
Something pure, something stable,
I need someone who's willing and able,
Please wrap me in your arms,
Hold me, keep me from all harm.
I need assurance that nothing' wrong,
I know I've felt sorry all along,
Yet I can't seem to control my emotions,
Through love, faith, daily devotions,
I beg forgiveness from everyone I know,
I pray acceptance you'll all still show.
ElladanElrohir - TROUBLEElrohir lay on his side on the soft bed, facing the wall, blankets pulled up to his chest as he thought about what would happen. Worries and doubts haunted him, but he knew it was late to turn back. His heart was torn between what would be the others' reactions and the forbidden feelings he held for the person who lay beside him.
His ears heard a change in the other's breathing, signaling he was now awake. Even so, he didn't turn, and for some minutes all was silent. Then, warm arms wrapped around the younger, a kiss being planted on his neck as his mirror image pulled them together.
"What bothers you, brother?" Asked Elladan, concerned for how the other was unusually quiet. Also, through their connection he could feel something worried Elrohir, and he wanted to ask even if he did have a good idea of what it could be.
"Adar will notice when he looks at us, he will notice we bonded." The younger twin sighed softly, turning to face Elladan. He was afraid of what his father would th

mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
